ABSTRACT: The assessment of groundwater runoff values in the catchments of Flysch belt in the northeastern part of Slovakia was based on data available from three gauging stations in Topla, Ondava and Laborec catchments. The original method of Kille and local minimum method with 5, 10, 30-day time step were used for calculation of groundwater runoff values. The estimated values, recalculated on specific groundwater runoff, were the highest in the Laborec catchment and the lowest in the Ondava catchment. It has been showed, that the groundwater runoff decreased during the assessed period, the most severe drought periods occurred simultaneously in all three catchments.
