ABSTRACT: The broad appliance of the organic compounds causes, that the part of them is given to environment. The organic compounds in south part of Záhorská lowland were observed in ground water near the landfills, in areas of business organizations and the airport and near the pumps of fuels. The existence of organic compounds in groundwater was demonstrated by high values of COD. The next pollutants as a non-pol ar extractable substances (NES), chlorited carbohydrates, benzene, toluene and xylenes were monitored too in depend on the source of pollution. The area of factory Kablo Malacky and the one of the airport Kuchyňa are the most problematic areas from observed localities. There were found out the highest concentration of organic compounds. Over-limited contents of pesticides were found out in groundwater of Agrochemical Factory´s area.
