ABSTRACT: Paper describes the Thermal waters of Nubian sandstones in the Western desert of the Egyptian part of the Sahara desert. Storage capacity of thermal waters in this territory is aproximately 24.10-12 m3, The article presents the latest knowledge hydrogeological conditions in the different oasis (Qatarra, Bahariya, Farafra, Dakhla, Kharga), The outlet of water from deep and shallow boreholes in four oasis (exept Qatarra) reaches 3032 l/s, The paper evaluates also the chemical composition of thermal waters (TDS = 100 - 500 mg/l) and their geothermic conditions (Gg = 10 - 56 °C/lOOO m).
