ABSTRACT: Hydrogen and oxygen were applied in a set of other methods describing the properties, circulation and regime of water involved in circulation in the hydrological system of the Krásnohorská jaskyňa Cave, Slovenský kras Mts., Slovakia. The paper presents results of detailed several-month monitoring of the precipitations, main flow, its substantial tributaries and cave outflow (karst spring Buzgó) and two smaller springs rising near the cave entrance. The results of the detailed monitoring of the basic characteristics of the chemical composition of water of the respective sources, and its isotope composition of H and O and tritium activity are presented as well. Information on water entering the cycle is represented by knowledge about the isotopic composition of precipitation observed in the Jablonovské sedlo Saddle.
