ABSTRACT: At underground mines (coal, ore, uranium) and open pit coal mines the significant change of the quality of the mining water occurs after the liquidation. Three expressive quality and advective zones create at the abandoned mine. After the deposit is flooded, the final level of underground water is kept by the draining and by the outlet of the mining water. The capacity of the mining water is equal to the natural supply. The capacity is usually variable and it depends on a local rainfalls. They have a typical hydrogeologic, hydrologic and hydrogeochemic characteristics. The environment is loaded a lot. The outflow of the mining water and the liquidation of the mine can cause even critical states in the first years and decades.
